MUDDY BOOTS Children's Outdoor Nature Group at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve, Forest Hill (Mondays and Fridays 10-11.30)

I'm running the Monday FIRE SESSION at Muddy Boots tomorrow , Monday 28th November.

Come and cook bannock bread on sticks over the fire and eat it drizzled with honey from our Reserve bees. One of my favourite sessions, don't miss it!

It'll be bright and sunny, but wrap up warm. Learn about fires, how useful they are, how to be safe and how to cook over them.

Muddy Boots Children's group is hands on, engaging and fun - all outside in the fresh air of the Devonshire Road Nature Reserve. I recommend 14m upwards to manage the activity but younger children are welcome to try if keen to come. Younger siblings of course can come, and siblings under 14m go free.

Sessions run every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. No need to book ahead, just turn up on the day. Meet up at the big green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road (opposite Tyson road) at 10am.

There is on-street parking on Devonshire Road and Tyson Road.

It's ?7 per child, ?10 for 2 siblings, child-minded children discount available

    • Try Gentrification, those with more money than sense who constantly want something different, when pie and mash isn't good enough for them.  "Argentinian Cornish pasties" give3 me a proper Cornish pastie any day of the week, at least I'd be supporting something traditionally British.   ps. tin hat at the ready........................🤣
    • You really have to go and look at the schools yourself, and do some research. My children went to the same school in different years and had very different experiences. Different school focus on different things. It's very personal. We bought close to the school I wanted to go to, and then moved a bit later, when they were old enough to travel on their own.
    • Not even remotely close to the catchment for charter north over there and would imagine outskirts of east (tho should check recent years). Would leave the Harris’s as more guaranteed options so maybe have a look at those and see if you’d be happy with them as a fallback
    • Sorry, thought better of my comment .
