legalbeagle
Hello felt tip - and all other interested drinkers! G&B has no corkage in the bar on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday night. On other nights we do charge corkage but it is a very reasonable rate compared to most other places, so don't let it put you off! *Bob*
They might as well call a spade a spade and stick one of these up. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13300-does-green-and-blue/#findComment-361812 Share on other sites
felt-tip
They could run a drinks bingo night where every 20 minutes a certain drop goes at half price provided you can drink the whole bottle in that 20 minutes. Get some whizzy lights, an MC... just an idea. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13300-does-green-and-blue/#findComment-361818 Share on other sites

laurlaur
I've had some good evenings at Green and Blue, but I went there today and had a very disappointing lunch. The waitress was surly beyond belief and the vegetarian platter was deeply disappointing. In response to my (very gently put) observation to the waitress that the vegetarian platter seemed to comprise mostly leaves, I was informed that I should order something else. It's good advice and I will in future -- somewhere else. legalbeagle
Laurlaur - I'm one of the owners of G&B and very sorry to hear that you had this experience. We do always try to give a good service and good quality food, and it's always disappointing to hear when that doesn't happen. Please PM me and I'll arrange a refund for the food. I'll understand if you don't want to come back to us, but at the very least I'd prefer you didn't pay for something you are that unhappy about. laurlaur
Thanks for the thoughtful response. I appreciate the offer of a refund, but the apology alone is sufficient. legalbeagle
Thanks Laurlaur. The offer remains open, and if you have some suggestions to improve the vegetarian platter let me know. Feedback, however painful it can sometimes be, is always good to hear! katie1997
I'm not a vegetarian anymore but ... the veggie platter has always been a favourite of mine. When I am working from home, I sometimes treat myself to lunch at G&B and order one (greedily all for me) and some rose wine. Bliss.Spicy butter beans, cheese-stuffed chillies and walnut bread = yummy. laurlaur, I have ordered this often and quality has always been consistent (eg. not all salad leaves) so sorry to hear your experience was less than positive. legalbeagle
Thanks Katie1997, I'm glad you like the place. We don't always get it right, but we do always try!
