Sunday roast with decent roast potatoes locally?

I love making currys and hate making a Sunday roast - surely each to their own!

Why anyone ever leaves their house, other than to go to work or visit the doctor/dentist, in this day and age is beyond me to be frank....

I had a great meal at the Lordship the other day. I rarely go there (not sure why), but it's actually very good. Will try to visit more.

I had perfect roasties in the plough on sunday. Bit I've also had bad ones there too. Basically the spuds are the one part of a roast that will akways be hit and miss when you eat in a pub serving food all day.

I just remembered - I had fantastic roast tatties at the Watson Telegraph. They're slightly spiced / curried (sound bad, but it's not). Very good indeed.
