Notification of nursery places

I put my son down for Goodrich nursery over a year ago, sent in the form, added a supporting letter, heard nada. Visited the school and was told I would hear back in July if he had a place or not. I never heard a thing! So rang the school and was told they dont bother letting parents know re nursery places and if you haven't heard then you're not in.It seems a tad er...rude?! Anyone else had similar problems? Are we not even worth a second class stamp?

a letter wouldn't hurt. its a bit silly really.

does this mean you won't get a place at all, or is there a waiting list? do any places come up in january? i thought it was done in order of birthdays...?

I think it's more they keep you on the list and as a place comes up they let you know..

Thats pretty poor i would ring up or go in and ask to speak to the person incharge

Same here for us- Goodrich and Heber ,no letter or contact. Ivydale, Goose Green and Fairlawns all were really effective in contacting us about a nursery place.
