Hello! My husband, 11 month old daughter and I will be visiting family in the area over Christmas and are looking for somewhere to stay.   This Italian restaurant at the Southbound Goose Green bus stop on Lordship Lane is excellent but doesn't seem to get much custom, especially at lunchtimes - a sad indictment of East Dulwich society. If it were in Camberwell/Peckham (where I used to live) it would be rammed. If we don't want Lordship Lane full of chains, then good quality independent family places need custom.

  Exactly - the winning combination of living in boring East Dulwich and being at a walking distance from the Peckham Rye lane area. I will certainly try these new places.

  Our boy Plato didn't come home last night. He is a huge cat, Ginger with white bib. He hangs around in Dawson's Heights area. I'm worried he may be ill and is hiding out somewhere . Please can you check gardens. Thanks
