Hi there-

We are considering getting our little girl a Smart Trike for her 1st birthday. A kind mum let us (well her) try one out in the park and it seemed to be a hit. I was wondering if others thought they were worth it? Also how far could you reasonably walk with one. We live near the Horniman and generally walk to the swings at Dulwich park- is this way too far to go on the Smart Trike? Finally is it worth paying for the 'deluxe', premium or zoo or they all much of a muchness? Thanks so much for any advice.

Lisa

Can't give much advise yet, but we've ordered one for our 17 month old (waiting for it to arrive). We went for the Smart Trike Premium, because it looked a bit sterdier, and was only about ?15 more I think.

I'll let you know how we get on once it's here (not til next wek), unless you're in a rush.

They're strong and lovely but a bit noisy for long pushes. Fairly easy to steer for the parent which makes a big difference. Once the kids are big enough to try to cycle themselves they're a bit hard to get going (probably the case with most trikes that don't have proper tyres). We have one of the fancy ones.
