Hi Hollie. I've bought the Summer infant baby zoom digital monitor for Baby no.1 due end of the month. Reasons: (1) my husband will be overseas until spring and we live in a large-ish house so being able to flick the screen on and see the little one will save me endless trips upstairs and means I won't disturb he/she (2) I didn't want to get a sensor one as I think it would make me too paranoid (3) I want to move Baby into it's own room within a couple of months (maybe sooner) so figure the monitor option will let me check things are ok without having to go into the nursery. Not sure if any of that helps but the monitor was recommended by several friends who have been thrilled with it.

I too have the BT 150 monitor and can highly recommend...she is now 11 months and we have used it abroad often and at various peoples houses as well as at a wedding...when it's out of the charging dock the battery lasts a long time and it picks up everything you need to hear.

Personally I did not want to get a sensor one as I think they make you paranoid and pick up all sorts of things that will just keep you awake at night and a video sensor is down to personal opinion.

I now have it on the low volume at night so I only hear her if she actually cries rather than her shuffling around. The only gripe I would say is that it is quite bright if you have it on your bedside table - so i tend to cover it with my iPhone cover or a sock!

I got the Angel Care sensor pad and monitor. I've never really understood the theory that sensor pads make you paranoid. Opposite effect for me, I've been really happy with it and it stopped me being paranoid. Reassuring to be able to see the pendulum swinging at a glance, especially the first time they sleep through the night ;-)

    • Maybe its a discussion point to get countries to accept their people back, without having to act it out, however if the bluff is called then it might be enacted. Hence the "could" and not the "will " at this stage  Politics is a funny game.
    • Hi I donate and buy clothing etc from the vision charity shop cheaper and they often have 50% off its next door to Rose the Butchers

Getting it done now would  undermine Reform's position and give Labour a "win" - even though the Tories had signalled they were going to do this before they got turfed out.

He was here within 2 hours -- ok he was working locally but he didn't have to fit me in .Shows what he's like ,he'll try and get to you asap .And he carries a number of commonly used parts and doesn't have to go off and get them . (You might think that this isn't deserving of comment ,but believe me it is ! ) Great guy ,100% recommend .
