  1. Mike from HomeCert replaced some transformers for our kitchen spotlights last week, after I had seen some glowing endorsements on the forum We were just in the process of moving house and wanted to ensure the spots worked okay for the new buyers. Mike came out at very short notice, was on time, polite - and kind enough to stay on in our empty house after we left with the removal van to finish the job off. He ensured the lights were restored to full working order, left the site clean and tidy, and was kind enough to lock up afterwards! Highly recommended - Mike?s number is 0207 205 2255
  2. I have recently used smartaupair and they have been excellent... Pre vetting and interviewing etc good luck
  3. Hi, Wondered whether you lot could recommend a good hotel in Ibiza for a big joint 40th next Summer.. Never been but because there is going to be 20 - 30 of us going for a long weekend in June, hoping to find the perfect venue soon to book for next year. Something not too pricey but with style - possibly Ibiza Town? Old part? Open to advice!! Thanks
  4. Buds nursery ar goose green is good and does mornings
  5. Great job again by Richard - promptly completed, excellent job and no fuss. Thanks
  6. We have been to lantana resort in Sardinia in June which was lovely, also punta prima insotel in June 2 years ago (prestige section only though!) which was bigger w more facilities Last year we went to princess yazia in April in lanzarote which was fab All with similar aged kids to you..
  7. We bought the booster 2 years ago for our 4 year old, then noticed the regs changed and it was specifically because they offer no protection on side impact. We were just about to do long journeys around France for the summer holiday and decided to buy the full seats with head rest given the boosters are now deemed unsafe if we are doing a long journey and our 6 year old needs a snooze she also looks much more comfortable in it It is a pain compared to the booster though!
  8. Hi I would be very interested in the snowsuit for the boy? I will pm you thanks

  10. http://www.hoteljulesetjim.com/en/ We stayed at Jules et Jim boutique hotel in the Marais last September when we went to Paris for a friends wedding...blissful 2 nights away with friends and no kids. Its a perfect location in le Marais so you can walk to everything. The hotel has lots of art installations - a great breakfast and immaculate rooms (they are a bit on the small side buts its Paris!). It is very contemporary and has a laid back, chilled vibe. Great bar too. Highly recommended
  11. Thanks for all your recommendations - have just bought some of the Julia Donaldson and Read it Yourself on amazon.. Emski - thanks so much for the offer..lets meet for a playdate soon - A would love to see M!
  12. I would like to buy a collection of 'learn to read' type books for my daughter to have at home. She is 5 1/2 and in Reception so she has one or two books a week from school which we read and make notes in her reading log. I thought it would be a good idea to have a series of books at home which help her to read and may be a bit more interesting for her (!). I am sure I saw something recommnended on the forum to get their child more engaged in reading but I can't find it. Any recommendations welcome! Thanks
