Erin
Just to let everyone know, I was at home this morning (by chance and by luck) and was going downstairs, when I saw the shadow of someone standing at the door. I assumed it might be someone delivering a package and opened the door, only to find a startled a young man in a hoodie. He asked for 'David', clearly having nothing else to say to me, and then left very quickly. I can't help but feel that I was minutes from being burgled! Erin
He looked about 17, slim, not very tall maybe aroun 5'9, was wearing a grey hoodie, shaved head, sparse facial hair. Dark hair and eyes. Looked mixed race to me (white/asian - not sure?), was quite sallow in skin tone. malumbu
I came home in winter one year to see a lady, maybe 30, walking up my steps. I did not recognise her and asked who she wanted. She gave the name of someone who did not live at my house. Now what I should have done was say yes, I'll just get her and see what the response with. She then seemed to vapourise. I reported it to whoever (crime cascade, community police) and was told that a small group was doing the rounds casing joints. One break in in 20 odd years, and this, but not a lot else. I hope the rest of you are similarly crime free Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13694-dodgy-activity-on-ondine-road/#findComment-370242 Share on other sites

lorna63
I think you should let the police know what happened and the description, as i read on here that in the last couple of weeks there have indeed been burglaries in Ondine and also Muschamp Road.
