Nanny housekeeper wanted from end Feb

For unavoidable personal reasons our lovely nanny has to leave us at the end of February, and we are looking for someone to replace her.


THe post is in Herne Hill (SE21), three days per week, 8.30 - 6.30 (although we can offer some flexibilty in negotiating days and times). Primary responsibilty is to look after 2 year old boy, and to drop off / collect/ care for after school his brother aged 5. School is Rosendale, which is 2 mins walk from our house. Some light housekeeping also required - cooking, ironing, keeping things tidy etc.


We're looking for someone long term, proactive, experienced and caring. If you're interested in discussing further please PM me for a chat. I can also put you in touch with our current nanny to get her references for us!

      Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken.       Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.

      Does anyone remember an incident from the late 90s/early 00s in which a young man fell to death from Dawsons Heights?

      Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
