MUDDY BOOTS Children's Outdoor Group at Devonshire Road starts up again this Monday 9th January.

Come and join us for time at basecamp learning about different aspects of nature, there'll be a hands on nature activity (this may be nature investigations, simple tool work, or a seasonal nature craft). There's also digging, watering and mud painting on offer in the garden.

We have a walk in the woods (distance to suit your child) and then we head back to the Meadow Basecamp for snacks and drinks, songs, stories or poems.

It's hands on, engaging, relaxing, fun, and all outside in the fresh air of the lovely nature reserve.

Sessions run every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. They are currently drop in sessions, so no need to book ahead, just turn up on the day.

Meet up at the big green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road (opposite Tyson road) at 10am. There is on-street parking on Devonshire Road and Tyson Road.

    • Anyone can deliver for Evri - my daughter having just passed her driving test tried Evri to make some money - they basically give you a route and as many parcels as they think you can cope with - you make money for each one you deliver, so you can imagine - speed is the priority. Why would they wait for you to answer the door when they can just throw it and take a photo? If you have a choice, choose a different courier service or shop elsewhere where they do.
    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
