Does anyone know if the maternity led unit mentioned in the article got the go ahead? I remember when I was in the midwives were hoping for something similar to St. Thomas midwifery led unit. Would be fab if it went ahead but I am wondering if there is going to be any cash for it with spending cuts.

Is going ahead as I type, as far as I'm aware. Hoping to be up & running next summer.
