Weekly teen sessions at JAGS Sports Club, 12-17 year olds

Recommended Posts

We offer four weekly classes for teens at JAGS Sports Club.

These classes are teen-only zones and establish a positive body image, self confidence and a healthy level of fitness, whilst also offering stress relief and an opportunity to positively vent all those hormones!

All sessions are free to members and are ?5 for non members. We recommend booking in advance, as they are extremely popular. To book, call 020 8613 6500.

Please bring water to all sessions.

Monday, 6-7pm: TeenFlex

Suitable for 12 - 17 year olds

Led by Alison, this class teaches teens how to stretch properly. Effective stretching is a key skill for all sports. These exercises will help tone and form definition, whilst allowing time for focus and switching off from daily pressures.

Wednesday, 6-7pm: TeenBox

Suitable for 12 - 17 year olds

Anna Maria, Kick-Boxing and Boxing champ, leads this session, which is high energy and high impact. Expect boxing training techniques (skipping, squats, lunges, etc), followed by lots of glove work and a lot of sweat! An extremely effective all over body workout.

Thursday, 6.15-6.45pm: TeenCycle

Suitable for 13 - 17 year olds

This is a new session, led by Claudia in our brand new CycleFit studio, who has teens herself and therefore understands great music and the right pitch for each class. For a slightly older age group, this session is high intensity and is a perfect cardio workout, whilst offering effective toning to legs, bums and tums.

Saturday, 2-2.45pm/2.45-3.30pm: YouthGym

Suitable for 12 - 17 year olds

Our in house fitness advisor and much loved Marco leads Youth Gym every Saturday in the main gym. The earlier session is for beginners and will ensure that teens understand how to use the machines safely under the guidance of a skilled instructor and in a small group. The second session is for advanced gym users, and will enable teens to establish and develop a bespoke gym programme that works with their unique needs.

    • Going to be really inconvenient for folk to go that way as has been stated.. why not just move to Camberwell which I would assume is abit nearer and better travelling wise or have vets in both places from Lordship Lane Branch.. Must have been massive flood if going to take two months to dry out, electrical tests to make sure all good… From upstairs? Or where?
    • @selector73 Thanks!  Because we want him to be treated by the vets that know him we will have to get to the New X branch because thats where the team are based until LL reopens. Thank you again 🙏
    • There's 1 in camberwell hope that helps
    • Thank you !  We Will find a way to get him to New X because We owe his life to the vets he sees at Lordship Lane branch and they know him (and us) and we prefer the continuity of care because he's an elderly rescue cat who gets extremely anxious even though he's been needing monthly bloods he just never gets used to going and it can be a lengthy process just getting the sample. Can you tell I'm as anxious about the whole thing as he is??😥
