I found some bottles of clary sage, roman chamomile and rose oils which I got when I was pregnant four years ago. I think they are all meant to be used during childbirth but not sure how or why! I am doing some googling but getting slightly conflicting information. If anyone has any clue whether they are helpful (or not) please let me know

Clary sage can bring on labour, as can jasmine - good jasmine oil is very expensive but lovely.

Don't use til 38 weeks plus, run a bath then once taps are off add 4-6 drops of each to the water so oil floats on surface.

Can also be mixed with a carrier oil and used for massage - lower back is good - did this during labour and it was lovely, but again you can try it to bring labour on.

I also burnt jasmine oil in a burner during labour & can't smell it without being transported back to both my births (good memories).

Not sure about other oils but Angela Flanders is a good supplier & very knowledgable. Based in Columbia Rd, where the flower market is. Maybe phone her for advice?

    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
