Dunstans Development

Anyone know who's responsible for the development of the three tiny houses at the bottom of Dunstans (Almost next to Potager)? It looks like they've given up half way. The site is in a right mess. I never see anyone working there.

Yes, I've not seen anyone on site for a while either where at one point they were always working when I went past to go to the bus stop in the morning. Seems they got as far as getting the roof on and then stopped.

I am glad more houses are being built but a bit dismayed to see that these ones looked very small. Why not build an extra storey to compensate for the narrowness and lack of depth? Hope they get finished anyway.

I believe the answer is because there were objections from nearby residents.

I was told by the builders in the summer that they were going to be be selling for ?800k each! They're so small it's insulting. Greedy developers.

Well if people are willing to pay that sort of money for that sort of house, you can't really blame the developers for asking for it, can you?

It is the market - if people won't pay that they'll

reduce, and the government has been making BTL less

attractive (so will probably be brought to live in).

They're so ugly not sure who'd buy them. I wish they'd get them finished though.

course they look bad , they are not finished. Its good to see smaller homes being built.

They don't need to be finished to tell how they're going to turn out...

Even when finished they are going to look awful. Poor brick choice, odd layout, horrible windows. Just all round not in keeping with the road or area.

Because they look nothing like these plans or the adjoining victorian terrace. It's mainly the brick choice that's awful.

Work has started again.

They've built up the bays.

Still look terrible. Nothing like the surrounding houses, and the bricks and finishes are poor quality.

Weird looking, roof line wrong, windows old fashioned. New ones in old police house much better modern houses

It's such a shame such poor quality housing was allowed on this site.

I have to discover data physical development, social/emotionsl development,Cognitive advancement, Guidance/conduct administration, and Health,safety and/or condition. I have no idea on where to search for this data. Can any one enable me to out with this, I would Appreciate it.
