Converting old family cine films to digital format

My lovely Granny is sadly very unwell. We have found 80 old cine films of hers that she took of our family from the 70's and 80's, which I remember watching as kids, but we no longer have a way of watching them. We really want to convert them to digital format. Does anyone know of anyone or any where that does this? Thank you,

I did exactly this with my Dad's old cine films and 35mm slides. I used Stanley Productions off Wardour Street. Very easy. www.stanleysonline.co.uk. Good luck, it's a great thing to do.

I had some video tapes transferred to DVD last year and took them to Boots at Lewisham and Croydon. I'm sure they do cine film as well.

we used stanleys too, they aren't cheap but they are experts and i think its worth it as the contents are obviously irreplaceable!
