Who'd have thought we'd actually be over using the word 'Trump' on the forum

A year ago it was either cards, or arse wind that 'Trump' alluded to. Oh the happy days that they were.

And those days of baiting Foxy & Louisa and actually speaking to my cousin, seem but a distant past.

I heard a new expression the other day?

Remain-Drain ?: apparently it refers people who believe that despite loosing a democratically fair national referendum that by stamping their feet like a petulant child they can get the majority decision overthrown and that the majority of voters who disagreed with their point of view ?must be racists, morons or both.?

They are also convinced that Britain can't survive successfully outside of the EU and are doing everything they can to make others believe the same by putting down political figures, leavers and others publicly rather then getting on with day to day priorities and pulling together as a nation to make the whole exit from the EU as painless and successful as possible. If Remain-Drainers put as much effort into making an independent Britain work as they do in complaining about loosing the referendum then maybe exiting the EU will work out better than they expect.?

Interesting expression and maybe that falls into one of your banned words?

I mentioned the 'Bad Word' #Brexshitters

And correct, we're not discussing your tedious hobby horse subject

Do me a fav, delete your post

Yeah, democracy means keeping quite, not expressing your opinions and never, ever campaigning for change (oh hold on, that's autocracy)

    • when high streets are filled with betting shops, pound shops, empty sites and just run down - as is the case in many places - of course people don't want to go there - either for essentials or to hang out or shop-shop. a multi-fronted approach is exactly what is needed - upgrade the areas, encourage footfall, encourage new shops etc - BUT that has to be supported by consumers - who need to stop being lazy with amazon and home deliveries and make better choices.
    • If the other side and/or you use a cheap conveyancer who doesn't understand any actual law, you will often end up being told to buy various unnecessary legal indemnity policies (because the conveyancer is too scared to offer an opinion) which will end up costing you more.
