The other day I was riding through Peckham rye park when I saw a lady walking her dog..... all very normal.

Dog does little number two on grass, lady picks up number two in bag (applause).........all very normal.

Lady whips out hanky from pocket lifts dogs tail and wipes it's arse...... nearly fell of my bike.

never thought I would see such a thing thanks for giving me the best laugh of the week if thats you.

I bet you have a cream carpet.

hugs

Ha ha this reminds me of my Aunty Susan who when looking after my nanas dog was horrified to see it was on heat scooting it bits on her new, also, cream carpet. I have never laughed so much as a Scottie dog in knickers with a sanitary towel (as a none dog owner this may be entirely normal though)

    • Seems to be back on now although pressure reduced especially for hot water via boiler. Hopefully I can have a shower in the morning.
    • It’s far too hot. Dogs should not be out and you’re right to post this.
    • Agree that you have to be so careful dogs in this heat… but please dont judge so quickly.  Its one thing if you see a dog at midday being thrown the ball endlessly, but if you see a dog en route / somewhere - You dont know if that dog was being walked to the vet for an emergency appointment.. or taken to a friend’s house that is cooler etc.  And if they live in a flat, they might desperately need to be taken out for a quick pee / poo !
    • I know,  absolutely crazy.  A dog has never died because it didn't have a walk, but dogs do die if walked in this heat. Perhaps the owners should put on a thick fur coat, take their shoes off and jog round the pavements, and see how that feels! 🤬
