...water coming in at window frame in living room, could be guttering,flashing or tiles. Not sure if this is a handyman,builder or roofer job but any recommendations gratefully received. T

I can highly recommend Darren Long of Dlong Roofing. He came to look at my leaking gutter which was causing a worrying damp patch in my house. He did a brilliant job of solving the problem almost straight away. Very friendly guy. Would definitely recommend.

Just wanted to add my thumbs up for Darren who has just been assessing and working on a blocked gutter drain at the front of our house which is creating some damp in our living room. He left a few minutes ago leaving it unblocked which was not a straightforward task.

He looked at the gutters at the back of the house as well and concluded (and proofed) they were fine (where another guy had said, almost without checking, that we would need them all unblocked!)

He is coming back on a dry day to have a look at our roof as the rain today made it dangerous to go up.

All of this at very short notice as I only called him yesterday, however, despite him being really busy, when I explained that I am pregnant and due next Monday he immediately agreed to come and have a look today!

A very nice, reliable and honest guy - nice to still find tradesmen like him.
