Does anyone know how it operates on Sunday am with lane swin, jelly babies and general swim all on at once? Are Jelly babies and general sectioned off? I don't need the Jelly Babies session but with little un's, don't want to be forced into the deep end where I can't stand up.

Also are the sessions timed?

Thanks!

FYI - Yes, lane swim down one side, shallow end Jelly Babies and deep end sectioned off as general swim. Sessions didn't seem to be timed but got full and folk seemed to be waiting at reception to be told when there was space to go in.

Oh and Jelly Babies starts at 10am NOT 9.30am as per all the published timetables. Not clear why this is.

Organisation doesn't seem to be a strong point but the pool and facilities themselves seem lovely.

That sounds like a lot going on in one small pool! I'm just back from Crystal Palace, where I had a great swim in the big 50m pool with lots of lanes and plenty of space. We went last Sunday morning for the family swim in the training pool, had the pool to ourselves for the first 20 mins, and it wasn't terribly busy this morning either - highly recommended and only 10 mins up the hill by car.

We used the Goose Green pool on Sunday, and it worked reasonably well. We arrived about 10.30 and had a 10-minute wait to go into the pool, which was fine. The babies/small kids bit was full, but not massively crowded, and generally people were very considerate of one another's space. Had a lot of fun. It's lovely to be able to walk to the local pool.

Interesting that the majority of other parents in the pool were dads - clearly it's a 'dad thing' to take your kids to the pool on Sunday morning. I'd be jealous if I were left behind!

    • Twenty plus years ago, the centre of Croydon was a fine place to work in, sadly times have changed, the Whitgift centre has gradually fallen to its knees, lots of shop closures and unlikely to be redeveloped given Croydon Councils financial situation.  Always preferred Croydon to Bromley and rarely go to either.

Looking to adjust the neckline, so need someone who can support altering of design, as well as adjusting general measurements. Any recommendations are so appreciated, thanks! x
