Hey everyone Clan Moos is back in town for one week only in mid December. Hopefully there will be some forum-relaed jollity we can gate-crashed, armed with sprigs of holly and lashings of goodwill. Also, does anyone know anyone local who might be away and would like a family to housesit? We are clean, like pets and house plants, are generally good eggs and can provide references from local folk, since we're Peckham Ryers (quondam et futurus).

Depends what the question is. OP was after bar, fishmonger, baker etc. etc. Gentrification would appear to be the answer if that is what you would like near your house. If the question is will my kids be able to afford to buy here, it probably is not.
