amandajwoodward
HiI've got 3 nearly new winter coats and want to donate to someone that needs then rather than a charity shop or someone that can afford to buy their own.Any suggestions as to how I can reach someone who might need?Do any of the local schools collect and donate to families that need things? Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/141855-3-baby-toddler-winter-coats-for-those-in-need-but-where-do-i-donate/ Share on other sites
Jennys
I have a feeling that the Salvation Army in Camberwell runs a scheme offering children's and babies' clothing and equipment to those in need. I saw a poster about it at our GP surgery. IlonaM
Also Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers (SDCAS) may be very grateful. The main office is based at the Copleston Centre (www.sdcas.org.uk). amlh
I took some things to Action for Refugees (AFRIL) in Lewisham, who collect things for refugeehttp://www.afril.org.uk/en/s. They seemed really pleased. All really easy, you can park outside, just call ahead and check someone's there.
