You need more than that for a buzz.

You need an appealing menu, appealing decor, a nice vibe and music that doesn't make you want to eat up and leave as soon as possible.

I hope it hasn't closed, because I don't like to see places fail, but I only ate there once and have no inclination to go back, particularly when there is such a wide choice of other places to eat locally.

There was always an air of mystery about the delay in first opening.

I ate there on 3 occasions ... once with Curry Club..

I really liked the food there. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Food and drinks were reasonably priced..

It just never seemed to take off. Maybe the eclectic mix of food suggested it was not specific enought to produce decent food.

Rumours from a single source of why it has closed are unsubstantiated and too sensitive to post here.

I personally do not know why it has closed.

I'm sorry it has gone. but it may be permenant..

Very sad to see a business fail after so much work has been put into it. But I think people just aren't used to such an odd mixture of food. Curry, burgers, and seafood.. naan with olives to start.. cocktails..

I think there's a bit more to this as Foxy alludes to.

That aside, my only visit there last month and the place stank of damp, the cocktails were awful and the food barely edible.

Hopefully someone with a genuine interest in starting a business will take this site over.
