MUDDY BOOTS Children's Outdoor Nature Group at the Devonshire Road Nature Reserve in Forest Hill.

Sessions run every Monday and Friday 10-11.30am up to the end of March. (Easter Break)

Things are warming up in the Reserve, the first flowers have appeared, the green woodpecker is calling, we'll soon have frog spawn in our ponds. Come follow the changes into Spring with us at Muddy Boots.

This Monday 20th we'll be learning about tools, having a go at hammering, whittling a wand and winding wool. We'll also be having a go at making simple fences for animals. All possible with pre-school children!

Come and join us for time at basecamp learning about different aspects of nature, there'll be a hands on nature activity (this may be nature investigations, simple tool work, or a seasonal nature craft). There's also digging, watering and mud painting on offer in the garden. We have a walk in the woods (distance to suit your child) and then we head back to the Meadow Basecamp for snacks and drinks, songs, stories or poems.

It's hands on, engaging, friendly, fun, and all outside in the fresh air of the lovely nature reserve. Sessions run every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. They are currently drop in sessions, so no need to book ahead, just turn up on the day.

Meet up at the big green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road (opposite Tyson road) at 10am. There is on-street parking on Devonshire Road and Tyson Road.

Prices:

It's ?7 per child, ?10 for 2 siblings, child-minded children discount available

    • I’m basing it on the fact that Jeremy Corbyn had repeatedly and on record said he is against mandatory vaccinations in any situation, and he wouldn’t disclose wether he had the Covid vaccine himself    as I said. Not as bad as his brother but very definitely a bit weird about the whole thing. Just say you had the vaccination Jeremy, say that everyone should and stop being weird in the middle of a global pandemic    it’s the same slippery evasive nonsense about Brexit and him. About Putin poisonings and him.     if you are happy with his evasiveness then you do you.  But there is a reason the country wouldn’t get behind him
    • It was my understanding that Jeremy Corbyn was embarrassed by his brother and had distanced himself from his brother's views. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Why on earth should "the overall view of that family inform Jeremy's response to the pandemic"? What exactly are you basing that assumption on?
    • I guess it's best to do what most Brits do these days, keep your head down and say nothing! although that's probably why this country is in the mess it is today!  😞
