Sue
I have a vast amount of unwanted books following a clearout, including loads of cookery books.A few weeks back I took some bags of things to the larger Hospice shop, including some books, and they said they were no longer taking books (although no signs to this effect as far as I could see) although they did take those ones.Does anybody know of a charity shop within reasonable distance which is still taking books and preferably has somewhere to park? Does the Oxfam book shop in Herne Hill take them directly, or are they supplied from books taken to other shops? ianr
Then there's the SDCAS ?monthly bookstall at the Copleston Centre. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?9,1783820,1783820#msg-1783820 I think they perhaps keep their stock there.
