MrsP
Have been going to DMC for last five years, Dr Sathiya Prabhakaran is absolutely brilliant, very easy to talk to, listens well and deals with issues with sensitivity and understanding. I won't see anyone else but her. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/14351-female-gp-at-dulwich-medical-centre/#findComment-383526 Share on other sites
Zo?
Seconding Dr Sathiya. She's lovely - warm, understanding & gives you as much time as you need. sidmeister
After having had a pretty woeful experience with some of the doctors at the DMC, I did not hold too high an opinion of the DMC. But my wife just came back raving about Dr. Prabhakaran and wanted me to sixth (or seventh) her. I am a bit reluctant to do so, coz then it might become nigh impossible to request an appointment with her. ;-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/14351-female-gp-at-dulwich-medical-centre/#findComment-765025 Share on other sites

srisky
Can I urge those of you that have had really positive experiences with the GPs (or any other health professional for that matter) to drop in a note to that effect for their attention and that of the managers. Naturally, people are more likely to put in a complaint (and it is right to) but praise also goes a long way to improve care and reinforce good practice - one way to know that you are doing a good job is to be told that you are :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/14351-female-gp-at-dulwich-medical-centre/#findComment-765211 Share on other sites

Am writing it now... She's a star. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/14351-female-gp-at-dulwich-medical-centre/#findComment-765271 Share on other sites
Jeremy
I'm confused... getting an appointment there in the first place is tougher than getting tickets for Wimbledon. And I've never, ever seen the same doctor twice. What's the secret? Curmudgeon
Ask for an appointment with specified doctor and they will try - best for non-urgent cases though Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/14351-female-gp-at-dulwich-medical-centre/#findComment-766671 Share on other sites
