Needed: Contractor for Kitchen refurbishment

Hi everyone,

My builder has let me down last minute and I need a contractor to do a full kitchen refurb including:

Removing existing kitchen

Re-tile walls and floor

Fit Ikea kitchen including units and all appliances

Repair damage from a roof leak which will involve removing damaged plasterboard and re-fitting (this will most likely be needed for the entire kitchen)

Some bespoke carpentry for shelves and odd shaped cupboards

If anyone has any recommendations for workmen who have completed a similar job and you were pleased with the results that would be great... I'm looking for someone who is reliable, works to a high spec and has good attention to detail.

If you are a contractor please message me and I will arrange for you to come over and give me a quote.

Thank you very much!

    • There  is a dance fit class at Harris girls on a Monday evening 630 pm which I have been going to for years . It is an inclusive class  with a wide range of ages.    The  teacher is Fi and she is amazing and  the classes are lots of fun.   look on the web justdanceuk .com. There are other dance classes  (flowetic )that Fi and the lovely Lizzie runs  at Harris girls too . They also have an event next week which is a bit further- near Penge  which is a day of dance to include  just dance fit, dancehall, line dancing, garage fit and flowetic . Which is also available to book on that website  ( look at the events section) .
    • that’s just been misused first by Faraz and then Starmer. It’s evocative and negative.  But it’s flooding the news today.
    • I didn't realise that either! I thought it just meant division within communities - religious, racial or otherwise.  Yes, it is frightening. The days of the broad church political party are over.
    • So I've done a little more research into the current use of the word, I hadn't realised it had latterly been used to describe anti Muslim feelings. Still don't like the use of the word. These are horrible times and am fearful for the future.
