Personal Training with Catherine, private studio off Lordship Lane

Hi,

I believe if we work with our bodies (not against) in our approach to exercise we build confidence, walk taller and are better served to tackle the day head on. Movement in it's many forms is therapeutic and the knock-on effect on our mental health has so much potential.

We don't just get strong, run faster and improve our waist lines by moving and sweating. Life throws all sorts at us and there is a danger that taking care of our physical fitness can take a back seat.

If this rings true with you and you would like to work with me to get fit and find your mojo I'd love to hear from you.

What's on offer:

Free consultation face to face, via Skype or over the phone

60 minutes of 1-1 training at a private studio, your home or in a local park

I specialise in helping people move well by combining the right elements of strength and conditioning, Pilates, yoga and callisthenics to suit the individual.

I work with people from 18 to 80, male and female. I have expertise in post operative knee surgery rehabilitation**, lower back pain prevention, getting back to fitness after cancer treatments (bowel, breast and lung), and create a supportive environment in which to work on the advice from your health care professional.

My clients expect and receive training that is as individual as they are, and good fun.

**Testimonial from 2016

'I came to see Catherine after knee surgery. She quickly and professionally assessed my needs and understood my fears and limitations. Week by week, she taught me the right techniques and exercises to build up my core strength again; to overcome my fears; and to push my boundaries, achieving way beyond what I thought I was capable of. I also lost weight and I have a lot to thank Catherine for! I highly recommend Move Well London and Catherine's personal training.'

Catherine is so right on this subject. We do get out of balance with the way life is these days & the high pressured jobs we take up. Try to find some time for your self in this full on world. She has a very professional trainer & im sure you will benefit from all she has to offer.

    • I didn't realise that either! I thought it just meant division within communities - religious, racial or otherwise.  Yes, it is frightening. The days of the broad church political party are over.
    • So I've done a little more research into the current use of the word, I hadn't realised it had latterly been used to describe anti Muslim feelings. Still don't like the use of the word. These are horrible times and am fearful for the future.
    • Oh I didn't realised Starmer had used the word. I don't mean they are stirring up division between themselves (ie between Reform and Greens), I mean they are stoking division within communities, and stirring up racial prejudice and religious discrimination. That is sectarianism, in my view.
    • Just to repeat the news I was given – it's not being converted into a pub. As far as I know, there's no intention of dumbing down their restaurant offering.  Although as others have pointed out, Camberwell has two pubs – The Camberwell Arms and now the Michelin-starred Kerfield Arms – with excellent food. The Palmerston used to be the only pub in ED that was of such quality, but sadly no longer IMHO.
