Lost sketch book

NOW FOUND!

LOST - Friday afternoon (19 Nov), possibly on Peckham Rye Common, or the 343 bus, some time after 3.15pm. Black A3 hardback sketch book, containing GCSE course work - lots of portraits, anatomical drawings etc. My daughter is desperate to get it back, so if you've seen it lying about on the common or on the bus, please pm or e-mail me. sounds obvious I know ,but you have tried the bus company haven't you ?

Son left school work on bus once and we got it back from bus garage at end of route .

Hi intexasatthemoment, yes, we tried the bus depot and it was eventually handed in in the middle of the night. My daughter is hugely relieved - she reckoned there was about 60 hours hard work in there!

If this happens to anyone else, I would definitely recommend contacting the bus depot directly (not the central Lost Property people as it takes a while to get there). The Camberwell depot were really helpful - after our initial enquiry in the early evening, they suggested contacting them again in the middle of the night when all the buses were back, which we did.
