Met Det: Daren Pooley was jailed today for 3 years @ Southwark Crown Court ? His wife was jailed for 36 months ? suspended for 18 months. Both were convicted at an earlier hearing at the same Court for conspiracy to defraud.

hers seems to have been suspended though.

Theres always been argument (in my workplace) for a fixed sum to be paid for accommodation/food per day and you can get a hotel for less and pocket the difference (thats what they did - but more organised) or pay more and stump up the rest yourself.

Would stop the arguments over who gets the best room and how much is placed on drinks but claimed on food (lots of restaurants will write out any bill you ask for to claim back)
