KatyLou
My husband and I have decided to move our nearly three year old son on from his childminder, Lorraine, to begin at nursery. He has been with her for two years. She will have a 4 day (mon-thurs) slot available from mid April and is able to take on a baby. We have loved her home from home setting and our little boy has thrived in her care. Lorraine takes the children out daily to playgroups, the park, petting zoo etc or to meet up with her childminding buddies. Her home is set up for the kids like a mini nursery with dedicated play room, great garden, menu board, their own coat hooks etc. She was unbelievable at getting him into a great sleep routine when I first returned to work and has helped us to potty train him too. He is always bringing home art work, singing a new song or showing a new trick (latest is how to put on his coat by laying it on the floor upside down).Lorraine is ofsted registered and can provide references from past and present parents. I am very happy to provide a detailed written or verbal reference to anyone keen. Lorraine is on the forum as lorraine11 or you can contact her by emailing [email protected] Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/144721-childminder-availiability-in-nunhead/ Share on other sites
bobby's bear
I would like to add my whole-hearted recommendation for Lorraine. She looked after both my girls in turn for three years in total and they thrived under her care and attention. Two years on we still talk about her.
