After school care wanted

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We are sadly losing an amazing girl who looks after our two children on Mondays and Tuesdays after school so are on the hunt. We have previously had a musician and an artist who just want a little bit more cash so completely at ease with someone with no childcare qualifications (good references are a must though). We have a girl (nearly 8) and a boy (who's 5) who are very easy going and happy. It would be picking them up from school in east dulwich on Mondays and Tuesdays and bringing them back to our home (a 10minute walk), keeping them happy really with a bit of light homework/music practice and then giving them their tea. Hours are 3.25-6pm. ((Spanish speaker or musician would be a bonus). Please pm me if you are interested. Thanks.

    • Friend recommends Penge Cycle Club.  Southwark Cyclists usually do two social cycle rides on Saturday, you don't need to be a member (London Cycling Campaign) but recommended.  They are advertised on the What's On section of EDF. And you can go on their other Borough group rides, Lewisham Cyclists often do long rides. Generally very cycle friendly around here, despite occasional on line hostility.

    • This Italian restaurant at the Southbound Goose Green bus stop on Lordship Lane is excellent but doesn't seem to get much custom, especially at lunchtimes - a sad indictment of East Dulwich society.  If it were in Camberwell/Peckham (where I used to live) it would be rammed. If we don't want Lordship Lane full of chains, then good quality independent family places need custom.
