when is the best and most succesful time to post something for sale?

I have posted things for sale and sold them quickly,and other times I get no response as my post is lost in a mass of postings. What time/ day do you think is the best time to post?

however I think that the short item / thread header itself usually carries most weight, if the item is desirable it will be spotted and there will be subscripton.

perhaps admin would advise the busiest/quietest posting periods on a weekly/monthly basis onthe For Sale board.

i think weekends are going to be quiet periods for parents with families.

late week and weekend evenings quietest for single adults / those with no kids (because they may be out and about).

and so on..
