Yes, you can even get it in Ireland. My brother told me at the weekend ;)

SONOS CONNECT

The SONOS CONNECT (formerly ZonePlayer 90) is designed to be used with an external amplifier. It contains both analog and digital outputs so you can easily connect it to your existing audio equipment.

My wife bought the little one - single speaker version yesterday.

It runs off my HTC One which is where my music is stored, which is great as I had heard it did not run off android music collections on android smartphones, but it does.

It also has facility to adjust the bass and treble - which I didn't know either. I like this as I find the factory setting to "bassy" especially for AC DC which you want raw. :)

Incredibly simple - 2 mins and you are done, app loaded etc.

Converted.

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
