Kids Sewing Class 2-4pm tomorrow at Stag&Bow in Forest Hill, ages 6+

Recommended Posts

Join us for a fun afternoon of sewing at Stag & Bow in Forest Hill!

If you're sticking around this Easter, keep the kids busy with some sewing and crafting! We'll be setting up our workshop at Stag & Bow, with a rainbow of felt and fabric to sew the most handsome crew of Spring Owls.

In this 2-hour workshop, kids will learn how to sew their colourful Spring Owl out of felt, adding a colourful fabric belly, some feather wings and little feet. Kids will definitely leave the workshop knowing the difference between their running-stitch and their over-stitch!

This workshop includes all materials and is drop-off (so enjoy a couple hours to yourself!).

Ages 6 and up, no sewing experience necessary. Tickets are ?17 each, and can be booked at: http://www.thesewcialcircle.com/shop/easter-kids-stag-bow-spring-owls-apr-4

    • Any ideas, the more novel the better, I've found loads, all still valid but I'll keep one just in case. I could use them as wallpaper, like they do with maps in cool houses. Send them to America where they still use them. Confuse a young person by asking them what they are for, or keeping them to placate a mugger, here you are mate have all of them. I've got a good idea that is not wasteful, but give me your real and/or odd suggestions.  No, not toilet paper.
    • Duncan Norvelle, who had brief fame in national variety programmes before returning to the piers and winter gardens.  I sort of worked with him once upon a time.  Is that a mars bar in your trousers.  A different time. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c77jn31nxmdo
