Posted this originally yesterday night - not sure why it was lounged - other missing and crime entries remain on the main page - dear moderator - please leave this up as if there's as real use for this network - it's helping each other - and that's what I'm hoping for here.

Dear all in Dulwich area.

You may have seen my bike over the years parked round Dulwich and East Dulwich - it's quite distinctive.

Some nasty shite stole it yesterday between 1pm and 11pm from Hillsborough Road SE22 (near Alleyns School). I'b be very grateful if everyone could keep an eye open for it.

It's a large / tall Silver 'Ridge Back' man's road bike - with a metal shopping basket - supermarket style - bolted on the back -

It's also covered in little round black stickers - each with a letter on - spelling out things like ' I LOVE MY BIKE - and various other silliness. It also has a oversized bell - which is a bit rusty.

It's not new - easily 10 years old - but much used and much needed - I've done thousands of miles across London on this bike and would dearly love it back. I have of course called the police ...... awaiting crime no. to be issued. . . .

    • I'm down about 50% in numbers and more in species since three years ago.  Not sure if it is the weather, continual building works, the quality of my feed or the pigeons and parakeets putting off others.  Good conversation on Winterwatch on feeding tonight, including issues with spreading disease. Three years ago, likely to see long tailed tits, dunnocks, song thrushes, corvids, wood pigeons. black birds, black caps. Possibles - redwings. Unlikely to see any this weekend, only blue and great tits, robin, goldfinches, bloody feral pigeons.
    • Thanks for the information about the wildlife group. I didn't know about that. And thanks to Sue for the links.
    • I got mine through the post with their mag  (I'm a member) but if you haven't signed up yet, you can download a printable guide from the RSPB website (you need to scroll down quite a way). https://www.rspb.org.uk/whats-happening/big-garden-birdwatch
    • I am currently selling via No Flies, very good communication, got 8 viewings the first weekend, a second viewing the following week and a decent offer the second weekend.
