Happy to go a couple miles out but don't want to go up town.

Tricky remit:

Lunch

I need Steak: chunky, filling, tasty

Husband vegetarian so will need something too (suppose)

I repeat my need for steak

Don't want to spend stupid amounts

Please help!!!!

The Lordship does a very generous serving of Flat Iron or shoulder steak as well as a couple of good veggie starters and mains and is very reasonably priced and nearby! (My local).

Bumping this: I've a big birthday coming up, not feeling the love for it this time around so am planning a quiet dinner out with family. I love a steak, but as with OP my husband is veggie so it's not something I often get to eat so I don't know where's good/bad locally. Would appreciate any recommendations for local restaurants with a lovely atmosphere that do a good peppered fillet. TIA. x
