nappy leaking at night

My 5 month old grandaughter has started sleeping on her tummy and during the night is becoming wet at the front. She is using asda nappies which are very good during day. Pampers also leak at night. Any suggestions as which are best for a tummy sleeping baby? Many thanks

May need to go into a bigger size? This is the only thing that worked when my little one used to leak!

also could be as simple as putting it on more tightly?

I think it is on tight enough. Do larger nappies hold more fluid?

yes - they're made to take on larger vols for older kids - hopefully that'll solve it

i've used ASDA nappies since the beginning and htey've worked really well for me

i agree with the bigger size idea. every time i've had this problem with my son and i've gone up a size it's sorted the problem out straight away. good luck

Going up a size worked for us too when we had the same prob. I also switched from pampers to huggies which seemed to have more padding where we needed it. Also, I made sure that I fixed the tabs far closer to the top of the nappy (ie above the coloured / patterned band which both pampers and huggies have but not sure about Asda, rather than in line with the band). Hope this makes sense and helps.

We also had size 3 during the day and 4 during the night for a while when our baby was around 4 months and the size 4 nappies still seemed very bulky (she's 5.5 months now and still fits into 3 but she's always in 4s now). Worked quite well!
