Real Nappy Week 2017 ? library demos (27/28 April)

To celebrate this year?s Real Nappy Week (24 to 30 April) Veolia, the recycling and waste partner of Southwark Council, will be hosting real nappy demonstrations in local libraries.


The team will be providing demonstrations at baby and toddler sessions where they will be on hand to answer questions about using real nappies and the benefits.


Real nappy demo venues, dates and times:


Thursday 27 April - Dulwich Library, 1.30 - 3.00pm

Friday 28 April - Grove Vale Library, 10.30am - 12noon


Parents or soon-to-be parents living in Southwark can apply for a free trial pack by filling in an online form at www.southwark.gov.uk/nappies


The free real nappy trial pack consists of:


3 x real nappies ? one of each from the most popular types

100 x flushable liners

1 x velcro fastening wrap

1 x wet bag

    • I'm all for good design v bad design (accepting that can be subjective) but I suspect most people formally and actively objecting to this (and many similar schemes across the country) aren' TOO exercised by the design - it's just blocking for blocking sake and is a major reason this country can't build anything If we are going to house people, not everyone is going to have a parking space or garden - sorry kids. look to Europe and other parts of the world where denser housing is more commonplace. I can't see any reason why a major capital like London can't build schemes of this scale
