Lauren1997
At midnight, there was a bmw that crashed into (what seems the pedestrian crossing outside tesco express) and ended up further down the road nearer the Morleys chicken shop on EAST DULWICH ROAD/PECKHAM RYE. It was a really awful sight and alot of the community reacted fast.I called the paramedics and police instantly and prayed for those Inside the car. I left the scene around 1am but they had not got anyone out of the car. Im not sure whats going on now if the people inside the car were able to be recovered or what happened after, but im hoping the people/person are ok. Couldnt sleep last night worrying about that poor person/people inside the car that was upside down on its roof for so long. The emergency services came fast Hopefully i was able to help save someones life and im praying for those affected. Anyone else seen this happen? Heard anything? Penguin68
As described it's a different vehicle (beamer and merc both mentioned) and a different sequence of rescue. So if it is the same incident it shows how witnesses can have very different takes on the same incident. If two incidents then one may have led to the other, either directly (one car avoiding another) - or if later then if one was a diesel which then spilled the other may have lost control in the diesel slick. Be interesting to know. I do hope anyone involved is recovering and wasn't too badly injured. One report suggested that the driver 'box' (of one car if there was more than one) didn't seem badly compromised. Sue
I can't believe two cars ended up on their roof in virtually the same place and at virtually the same time. Many moons ago I filmed a (acted) incident. When shown it later, people's subsequent descriptions of it and the people involved varied widely.
