kelda Posted April 23, 2017 Share Posted April 23, 2017 MUDDY BOOTS Children's Outdoor Nature sessions at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve in Forest Hill starts back for the Summer term this week Monday 24th April. It's hands on, engaging, relaxing, fun, and all outside in the fresh air of the lovely nature reserve.It's bird nesting time at the moment, so we'll be learning about birds, looking at real nests and building our own nests for a variety of birds. There'll also be a worm game in the meadow.There's digging, watering and mud painting on offer in the garden; we'll have a walk in the woods (distance to suit your child) and then head back to the meadow basecamp for snacks and drinks, songs, stories and poems.Sessions run every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. They are currently drop in sessions, so no need to book ahead, just turn up on the day.Meet up at the big green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road (opposite Tyson road) at 10am.
