Fantastic nanny recommendation - available now

Recommended Posts

Our fantastic nanny Elle is sadly leaving us in a few weeks time as I have been made redundant.

Elle has worked for us full time helping to look after my 1 year old son after I returned to work from maternity leave. This was her first nannying job and before that she worked for a nursery for 3 years plus lots of local babysitting and helping to look after her young nieces and nephews.

Elle formed a bond very quickly with my son and he loves her to bits - they enjoy messy play, arts and crafts, visiting local children's centres and parks, walking the dog, reading, playing and singing! She is very observant and quickly picks up on new words and noises that he makes (she is English mother tongue).

Elle is very reliable, punctual and hard working. She cooks all of my son's food and our freezer is stacked full of delicious, homemade meals. She is from SE London originally so knows the area well and is a confident driver in London traffic. She is also good with pets - our golden retriever will be very sorry to see her go too! She is Ofsted registered.

Elle is ideally seeking a full time role but is happy to discuss part time roles for the right family.

Please contact me if you are interested and I will pass on your contact details to her.

Hello,

Might Elle be interested in looking after our 6 yr old son and 4 yr old daughter 3 afternoons a week? There would be longer days during school holidays. The job would require collecting from Bessemer Grange school, helping with school work, cooking their supper and getting them ready for bed. We live 15 mins walk from the school. Days are Mon-Weds, 3.30-7pm.

Imagine she is looking for more hours but thought it might be worth asking given more hours during holidays.

Many thanks,

Kate

    • Yes, we have a Casio CT-S100 we no longer need, except I dont think we have the headphones any more. It has a USB connection. £50? https://www.argos.co.uk/product/7333639
    • Thank you! She is both spayed and microchipped, and reported missing on Petlog and with the vets.   She normally never goes out the front, certainly for never more than 10-15 minutes, so this is definitely new territory for her. There is lots of dense foliage across the road so there are plenty of places she could be hiding if she is spooked, so we are hoping she will come back when she is calm. The weather isn't helping, she never goes out in the rain. Thank you again!
    • Hi, Have you been letting her out the front door onto the street or would this be a first & therefore unfamiliar with the area? Does she respond to a name & is she spayed & microchipped? Our team carry scanners on our daily routes & will of course be looking our for her. I hope you are reunited with her soon. If not already, notify your street & surrounding streets (find out if they have Whatsapp groups) Dox will print & deliver free missing posters https://www.doxdirect.com/help/free-missing-pet-posters/ Call her at dusk & dawn when street & foot traffic is at its lowest.
