*This Friday we will be running an extra session between 1.30-3.30. Yes, its a TWO HOUR session. You can arrive any time between 1.30 and 2.

Do come to this one if you can, to relieve the pressure on the morning session and if you want to come to a slightly smaller session!

Activities: we may be planting, or sawing and making a necklace or learning about an aspect of some of the wildlife at the Reserve. In addition, there's digging, watering and mud painting on offer in the garden; we'll have a walk in the woods (distance to suit your child) and then head back to the meadow basecamp for snacks and drinks, songs, stories and poems.

All morning sessions are drop in. HOWEVER, i do need to book children ahead for the afternoon session to ensure it goes ahead, so please let me know below if you will come to the 1.30-3.30 session

    • Last week (27 Nov) I was told the only way to book was via ACCURX (sp) website.     I then proceeded to book via patient access (only 2 appts left). Left and right are telling different things Edit to add - can someone describe what happens once you have put a request via ACCURX.   does it wait until a Dr has reviewed your request and how (if at all) do you choose the date.

    • It’s literal.  There are levels of earners. Those who don’t work and get benefits, those who work and get benefits, those who work but don’t get benefits. now, it’s an assumption that the last group are all wealthy, but that’s not the case. People in this last group are most exposed.. private rent, higher tax brackets, cost of living increases, yet they pay the most tax, and get no help.    So many questions: why are workers needing to be subsidised? Should companies pay more? Should there be private rent caps?  Why are people better off not working at all, or only working low hours to ensure they get benefits top ups?  How do you think people respond to this?     Do you realise that a number of companies are focussing on buying property? The banks, the supermarkets! Yet the government is squeezing individuals out of this equation. What do you think this will look like in the future? When foreign companies own the majority of UK property?
    • All depends on what you call reasonably priced!  Was it for Christmas Day?   Noticed that The Plough were advertising Christmas Lunches but did not see any prices listed.
