Re-cycling Christmas Cards

Happy New year everyone.

Can anyone tell me where I can take my old

Christmas Cards please?

There was a flyer from the council before Christmas saying cards

could be put in our Blue Boxes.

I wouldnt put your cards into recycling bins.

They are sold on to card making outlets, to sell on to crafters. Who is making the profit out of that,

I have not heard of any charities getting the money.

I would rather people made their own crafted cards,with them, saving money and having an interesting hobby.

Or you could donate them to local schools or youth groups etc,

People are happy with busy hands.

If their are any charities that use them to make money .

I would willingly give them.

At least the trees are shredded for the parklands.

Why not just put them with all the other paper? or, * handy tip * cut them up and use them as gift tags next year.

Because they can have some monetary value to charities.
