Underfloor insulation

Does anyone have any recommendations for fitting underfloor installation. The floor is several degrees colder and I'd like to correct this before next winter. Thanks.

  Does anyone know if rescue places still look for foster homes for pregnant cats or cats with very new litters? All I can remember is that you must have a spare bedroom for the mum and litter.
