bawdy-nan
what's your problem you aggressive pseudo mind reading loon? I've no idea if it's the same dog and wanted to know if anyone was experiencing it right now, knew which house it belongs to and had already called the council. Pearson
I find it hard to see how my post was 'aggressive', nor did i resort to name calling. You need to lighten up! SeanMacGabhann
Now now ? the last thread was back in October and barking dogs are widespread. It might eb the same dog it might not but there isn?t any need to be so aggressivePlay nicely Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15267-argh-barking-dog/#findComment-400960 Share on other sites
bawdy-nan
I just find it weird that someone chooses to nit-pick and meta-post within 4 minutes displaying an irrationally powerful need to enforce their own vision of tidy forum posting ettiquette.Might I suggest a therapeutic visit here. The thing is that reporting it to the council seems a bit extreme. I don't want the people whose dog this is prosecuted I just want the barking to stop. It has been going on all morning and I can't be in the front part of my house. If I knew which house it was coming from I might drop round a note as I can't imagine they know that this is what the dog does when they're out. Pearson
The 'Argh!!!! ' was quoted from you. There was no aggression in my post or abuse aimed at you personally or otherwise. It was just a good old honest and simple question. And also a pointer to a thread which you had previously posted, on a very similar problem.Which i might add, some might have considered helpfulas it may have revealed an answer to your OP.That's all.:) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15267-argh-barking-dog/#findComment-400964 Share on other sites

siousxiesue
I reported a similar theing to our noise team 0207 525 5777 and they were very helpful, it took 2 seperate visits but they served an abatement order on the spot. Pearson
There is definitely a very yappy barking dog on Crystal Palace Road.Over x-mas hols it would often start at 4am, still going on at various times of the day.Owner does nothing to stop the barking!! Willard
Surely talking to the owners is the obvious thing to do in the first instance? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15267-argh-barking-dog/#findComment-403418 Share on other sites
bawdy-nan
Yup Willard, I quite agree. Someone tipped me the wink about which house the dog belongs to and should it bark incessantly again I will indeed approach the owners.
