I know yesterday udens funeral directors phone was down and the shops opposite Dulwich library. Udens was told yesterday that the lines were flooded and the men were there trying to pump out water from under manhole cover. This is of course at top end Barry road, may be connected. I believe udens phone is still not working today.

Thank you Delainie .Sorry you're in touch with Udens .

I did wonder if it might be the recent rain .Water has caused problems before and although the rainfall has been pretty minimal I wondered if it was "running 0ff" more because the ground is so dry and hard after months with none .

Thanks, was arranging elderly ladies funeral, very sad, flowers only from me, only me will be at funeral, had to plead with social services to release some of her money to pay for her own funeral. Think it was the rain we had yesterday. Hope phones get sorted soon.

Oh Delianie that's sad - I've sent you a PM .

Reg ,yes my money is on the rain . But...breaking news phone call from BT ,problem fixed ! Apparently it was a cable from the green junction cabinet on the corner of Goodrich Rd to the exchange .

Speedy service ,thank you BT .

    • Can they be recycled? I didn't know that. I've tried to give them away in the past. One community garden took a load one year, but I haven't had much luck otherwise. People are probably trying to get rid of their own 🤣 I don't know why nurseries don't use biodegradable pots, but I suppose it's because they would biodegrade before the plant reached the plant centre/retailer and then the gardener at the end of the chain.
