Recommended Posts

Muddy Boots Children's Outdoor Nature Group at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve, Forest Hill.

Two more Monday Muddy Boots until half term!

Come and have go at pond dipping. Lets see how our tadpoles are growing. We'll be dipping with a net and looking at our catches and working out what the creatures are.

Bring your coat incase of rain, dont stop having fun just because its a greyer day, the kids don't care!

Come and join us for time at basecamp learning about different aspects of nature, there'll be a hands on nature activity (this may be nature investigations, simple tool work, or a seasonal nature craft).

There's also digging, watering and mud painting on offer in the garden. We have a walk in the woods (distance to suit your child) and then we head back to the Meadow Basecamp for snacks and drinks, songs, stories or poems.

It's hands on, engaging, relaxing, fun, and all outside in the fresh air of the lovely nature reserve.

Sessions run every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. They are currently drop in sessions, so no need to book ahead, just turn up on the day.

Meet up at the big green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road (opposite Tyson road) at 10am. There is on-street parking on Devonshire Road and Tyson Road.

Prices:

It's ?7 per child, ?10 for 2 siblings, child-minded children discount available. Recommended for 14m upwards, younger siblings go free.

    • The end of a decade and a half of gaslighting, they must be exhausted. Oh boy, are we going to hear some coercive BS in the next 6 weeks. For some reason they don’t seem to be boasting about how well we are doing in education, crime and policing, fishing, agriculture, health, prisons, trade, trade agreements, immigration, transportation, utilities (including water), amongst other things. They seem to be focussing on exporting individual ‘illegal’ immigrants to Africa for more than it costs to take a journey into space. And rainbow-coloured lanyards for use within the civil service. I wonder why?🤔
