Best Route to Sittingbourne?

Need to go there early tomorrow morning. Does anyone ever go there who might tell be the best route without speeding?

A2 all the way. It's really very easy and quick.

Or M2 and junction 5 to Sittingbourne. But M2 is technically more miles, but obviously you can go faster.

But the A2 is somehow always prettier.

So make your decision. I go through on the way to Thanet many times a year and go both ways, but on a motorcycle not breaking any speeding laws I could get there door to door in about an hour (via M2) to an hour and a half (A2 all the way).

The AA suggests the M20 for some reason though last w/end I dropped my son off at Uni in Canterbury and went by the M2. I always leave in plenty of time but was really wondering if there was a magical route that makes it a lot quicker. Via the wardrobe maybe?

Big Diversions in Chatham on A2.

Best to take the A2 and branch onto M2 to Exit no 5 left onto A249 then first exit off turn righ to Sittingbourne.

About 40 Miles.

Any hold up will be at the A2 / M25 Junction for Dartford Crossing.

M20 fastest route, then A279 (think that's the road number, fast dual carriageway direct from M20 to Sittingbourne).
