The Stop Smoking service for pregnant women and new mums (with children under 5) in Southwark and Lambeth is designing a new leaflet and we would really appreciate some help to make sure we get it right!

If there are any women who are smokers or used to be, we'd really like to get your feedback. It's such a sensitive subject, and we want to get the balance right between giving information, encouraging women to quit - but without preaching or sounding judgemental.

Could you join our 'expert readers panel' and share your views?

I will be uploading the two current leaflet drafts later today - and would really value comments and suggestions. In the meantime to join our 'expert panel' in complete confidence please contact Keri Lewis on [email protected]

Many thanks,

Keri Lewis

Here are two current drafts for a new leaflet - please send us your thoughts on:

* Colours / design / general 'look' of them

* Wording and language

* Which bits do you particularly like or dislike?

* Which of the two leaflets do you prefer overall?

Any comments appreciated at [email protected]

Thank you!

    • Yes, if you think they have been complicit in this. When you say you "had to" accept the lower price from your buyer, was that because of the timing of your purchase?
    • Thanks. I know that's the most obvious solution, but there are other factors, as mentioned above. Also, whilst I was relieved to discover from a post above  that Zipcar has no upper age limit, my  daughter has pointed out that modern cars (mine is a 1998 Micra) have features (like no obvious  handbrakes, apparently)  which would be fine if I was buying a new car and could get used to them, but less fine if I am using a hired car occasionally and don't know where anything is or how to use it! This would probably be no problem  if I was younger, but I am now  nearer eighty than seventy, and apart from dwindling brain cells, I am prone to anxiety, which not being able to locate or use the handbrake on a hill would not help 🤣 For various reasons I have decided to keep the car. I will just have to make fairly frequent long trips to keep the battery charged.
    • My partner and I found a bike trailer today in the street in East Dulwich. We have it safe. If yours is missing, please get in touch with the description of the trailer (make, model, colour etc) and of any items lost with it. My number is 07849312318
